The upbuilding of Palestine was discussed here today from the women’s angle at the eighth annual convention of the WIZO, Women’s International Zionist Organization.
The convention, the first world gathering to convene in Palestine, opened today in the presence of 3,000 guests and delegates from all over the world. The opening speech was delivered by Hadassah Samuel, daughter-in-law of Sir Herbert Samuel, the first High Commissioner of Palestine.
