Syrian port workers today picketed three American freighters and two oil tankers in the port of Latakia and in the oil port of Panias in retaliation for the American union’s boycott of the Cleopatra, it was reported here today.

Syrian authorities said American vessels would not be unloaded or loaded in United Arab Republic ports until the Cleopatra is serviced in New York.
