Problems concerning the upbuilding of Palestine, aid for Jewish survivors in Europe and activities on behalf of Jewish veterans of the U.S. armed forces will be discussed at the 16th annual convention of the Jewish National Workers Alliance opening here tomorrow. Four hundred delegates from all parts of the country are attending the five-day conference.
A pre-convention report made public today emphasizes that the Alliance was commended on numerous occasions during the war years for its share in the war effort. Its branches and members subscribed to and sold more than $25,000,000 worth of War and Victory Bonds and raised huge sums for war relief purposes. The Alliance raised funds for a bomber, a victory ship, a hospital ship and numerous ambulances and field units.
