The Israel-backed South Lebanon Army killed four infiltrators and lost one of its own men in a clash in the southern Lebanon security zone Wednesday morning. Three SLA soldiers were wounded.
The incident began when an SLA patrol encountered about 15 guerrillas on the security zone border and opened fire on them. The intruders fled in the direction of Maydoun village, a Shiite Moslem stronghold north of the security zone.
