Five Jewish senators will return to Congress. Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) defeated Rep. Joe Hoeffel to win a fifth term in the Senate. He is expected to chair the Senate Judiciary Committee next year. Sens. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), Russell Feingold (D-Wisc.), Ron Wyden (R-Ore.) and Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) all won re-election Tuesday night.
