A fiver month In-Service-Training Course for Mohelim under the auspices of the Brith Milah Board of New York–the first of its kind in this country–has been concluded, it was announced today. The courses consisted of lectures by rabbis and doctors in various specialties such as obstetrics, pediatrics, urology and hospital administration.
The subjects dealt with included “Circumcision Technique, “Post Operative Management of Circumcision,” “Hospital-Mohelim Relationship,” “Sterility,” “Care of Instruments and Hands.” “Anatomy,” and problems of Jewish law involved in the ritual of circumcision.
