Five unofficial members have been added to the Palestine Harbor Board, according to a government notice. They are Asem Bey Said, Mayor of Jaffa; A. R. Spinney, an Englishman; S. Tolkowsky, a Jew; Willi Aberle, a German Christian, and Aziz Khayat, a Christian Arab.
As three of them come from the Jaffa district, it is felt that their association may augur plans for a reconstruction of Jaffa port.
