The annual Flower Day of the National Labor Committee for the Jewish Workers of Palestine will take place tomorrow evening and all day Sunday.
The object of these annual collections is to raise funds for the welfare, cooperative and educational institutions of the General Federation of Jewish Labor in Palestine, popularly known as the “Histadruth.”
Part of the proceeds from this years’s Flower Day will be applied to the Arlosoroff Memorial Fund, whose object is to settle Jewish families, including refugees from Germany, on land in Palestine, and to name the new agricultural settlement after D. Chaim Arlosoroff.
