A “National Planning Conference” called by the early 50 American Jewish leaders who participated in the recent extraordinary economic conference in Jerusalem, and which is expected to be attended by the most representative body of American Jewish communal leaders ever to assemble at a National Jewish parley, will be held in Washington from Oct. 27-29 at the Hotel ##tatler, it was announced last night.The list of Jewish organizations sponsoring the conference has not yet been ## public. The provisional agenda of the meeting includes a four-point program of ## to Israel, which will be presented to the delegates. These points are:
1. Contination of the United Jewish Appeal campaign; 2. Probable launching of a $1,000,000 Israel Government bond issue, which must first be approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission; 3. Stimulation of larger private capital investments in the Jewish state; 4. Launching of efforts by Israel, with the aid of U.S. Jewry, to obtain from the U.S. Government a major loan under President Truman’s Point Four program of assistance to underdeveloped countries.
