For the first time in the history of fraternities and sororities in this country, representatives of various college and non-college fraternities and sororities will meet in joint session this evening to discuss the need for a meeting to formulate plans for consolidating Jewish student groups on the various college campuses of the country to prepare them for an active part in the communal Jewish problems of the day.
The meeting was called under the auspices of the Youth Division of the American Jewish Congress and will be held at the Park Royal Hotel, 23 West 73rd street. Harold Riegelman, former national president of the Inter-Fraternal Conference and the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, and present counsel to the Citizens Budget Commission, and Rabbi William Rosenblum of Temple Israel, will speak.
