For the first time since his election a year ago, a majority of Israelis are dissatisfied with Ariel Sharon’s performance. Last Friday’s poll in the Ma’ariv newspaper showed 53 percent of 590 Israelis surveyed are dissatisfied with the Israeli prime minister’s performance, and only 42 percent are happy with it.
