The Ford Dearborn plant employs more than 5,000 Jews, according to a circular distributed by the Ford Company among its agents which brands as a forgery a letter purportedly written by W. J. Cameron, Henry Ford’s right-hand man, to Fritz Kuhn, German-American Bund leader, published by the weekly Friday.

At the same time Dan Gillmor, publisher of Friday, in a statement to the J. T. A., said: “We have every reason to believe that the letter to Fritz Kuhn which Mr. Cameron denies having written was written by him” and said Friday had received it from a source “we consider highly reliable.”
