The diplomatic envoys of the United States, Britain, France and Turkey today called at the Israeli Foreign Office to hear the Israel Government’s views on the latest series of attacks on Israelis and violations of Israel territory by Arab infiltrates.
The military attaches of the four powers’ missions here were also informed of the Israeli view of the border situation. In the latest series of incidents this week, two Israeli civilians have been murdered and one wounded seriously. An oil truck was blasted by a landmine near the Egyptian-held Gaza strip today, and one Israeli was injured. This incident was protested to the Israel-Egyptian Mixed Armistice Commission.
