Acting on the request of the Federation of Jewish Communities, the Ministry of Finance today ordered extended to the end of 1945 the period for submission of claims by foreign Jews for the restoration of property in Bulgaria.
A group of 140 Jewish emigrants, including 57 Halutzim, has left Sofia for Palestine. A large group of Bulgarian Jews, representing the various Jewish organizations sang the Bulgarian national hymn, Hatikvah and other songs before the train poiled out of the station.
