Israeli Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett was admitted to a New York hospital today where it was expected he would be confined for several days. A reception in his honor dedicating the new Israeli Embassy building in Washington, which was to have been held today, was cancelled and Mr. Sharett is not expected to be able to attend the economic conference on Israel at Washington, at which he was to have been a principal speaker.
