The Foreign Ministry has confirmed officially that anti-Jewish laws are applicable to foreign as well as German Jews living in the Reich, it was learned today.
The Ministry sent a written statement to foreign consulates, a copy of which is in the possession of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, asserting that “treatment of foreign Jews in Germany is in full accordance with basic principles, which are applied also to Jews who are Staatsangehoerige (state subjects).
“Exceptional treatment of foreign citizens does not come under consideration.” the statement said.
