American and other foreign students at Israeli universities will observe Lincoln’s Birthday by demonstrating on behalf of freedom for Soviet Jewry. Representatives of various foreign student organizations said the demonstrations were intended mainly to arouse public opinion in America to the plight of Jews in the Soviet Union. A delegation will call on the American Embassy here. The students said they would demonstrate at the same time against France’s arms embargo against Israel and its sale of weapons to Libya and other Arab states.
