A forest of 6,000 trees, in memory of Abraham Shiplacoff, the late American Jewish labor leader, was dedicated Sunday at Kfar Choresh, near the George Washington Forest and the Balfour Forest, on land provided by the Jewish National Fund.
The ceremony was held despite a torrential rain in the lonely hills looking toward Nazareth. Among those participating were the members of an American Jewish labor delegation visiting here, leaders of the Palestine Jewish labor federation and representatives of the Jewish National Fund.
