The Council of National Jewish Social Agencies was formed here on Sunday by 150 delegates representing the Consumptive Reilef Society of Los Angeles, four organizations in Denver. the Leo Levi Memorial Hospital at Hot Springs. Ark, and the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.

Dr. Phillip Hilkowitz of Denver was elected temporary chairman and William Schaeffer, also of Denver, was named secretary. The purpose of the preliminary conference held at the Standard Club was to discuss ways and means of working out more economical methods of raising funds for Jewish social organizations and to find means of preventing conflicts between campaigns. The first annual meeting will be held in Chicago in 1930 when a definite program will be worked out.
