A proposal for establishment of a City Commission on Human Relations is being submitted to the City Council for consideration. Councilman Leo Parskey announced today.
Mr. Parskey, who is president of the Hartford chapter of the American Jewish Congress, proposes establishment of a nine-man commission with an executive director to foster understanding among ethnic, racial and religious groups, to study problems of prejudice, discrimination and disorder and to prepare and distribute educational material.
