The formation of Emunah, a new world religious Zionist women’s movement, was hailed here by Hapoel Hamizrachi Women’s Organization in the United States. Mrs. Toby Willig, president of the American Hapoel Hamizrachi Women, said her organization is a charter member of Emunah which is Hebrew for “faith.” Mrs. Sarah Herzog, wife of the late Chief Rabbi of Israel, Isaac Herzog, and mother of Chaim Herzog, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, is president of the new organization which was founded at a recent conference in Jerusalem. The organization plans to promote religious education and social welfare, encourage aliya and “speak as the collective voice of religious Zionist women,” Mrs. Eva Adelman, Emunah’s world chairman, said.
