Former Admiral Magnus von Levetzow, who was elected to Parliament in the last election on the National Socialist ticket, has been appointed Police Prefect of Berlin.

His stand toward the Jewish question is not known since he has made no declarations in this connection up until the present

The appointment of Paul Joseph Goebbels, editor of the Nazi organ “Der Angriff”, and principal aid of Chancellor Hitler, as Federal Commissar for Broadcasting and Propaganda, is imminent, it is learned. Goebbels would be directly responsible for his work to the Chancellor, which in this case is his chief, Adolf Hitler.

Goebbels is known as the firebrand of the Nazi Party and is the most virulent in his denunciation of the Jews.
