Former British Officer Sentenced for Attempt to Set Fire to Synagogue

A Bristol court yesterday placed on probation for three years a former British Army officer, Ivor Worth, found guilty of an attempt to set fire to a synagogue there. Worth declared that England was “at war with Jewry” and he “felt it was time we hit back.”
