Rabbi Abraham Eber Hirshowitz, formerly of Borough Park, Brooklyn, died the day after Yom Kippur, according to a cable received by his relatives here. The deceased had lived in the United States some thirty years and was a prominent figure in the rabbinical world. He was rabbi in San Francisco and later in Toledo and Brooklyn, whence he emigrated to Palestine. He is survived by his son, Louis Hirshowitz, and by three daughters, Mrs. Clara Stoll, Mrs. Mendelsohn and Mrs. Sarah Levin.
