Gottlieb Muzikant, formerly a Nazi SS guard at the Mauthausen and Melk concentration camps, will go on trial in the district court at Fulda, on November 14, on charges of murdering 210 Jewish inmates at those camps during World War II, according to an announcement from the Fulda court today.
Preliminary investigations into the case have been completed, the court stated, after about 500 witnesses had been interrogated in West Germany, the United States, Canada and Israel.
