Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed the escalating Mideast violence on peace concessions that outgoing Premier Ehud Barak offered the Palestinians. “What we got, as a result of these far-ranging concessions in the face of violence, was the collapse of peace. They perceived, on our part, weakness,” Netanyahu said at a Philadelphia synagogue.
