Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, who lives in the community of Kochav Yair immediately adjacent to Palestinian-ruled areas, reportedly paid $1.2 million for a plot of land to build a house in the upscale community of Kfar Shmaryahu next to Herzliya, the Israeli daily Ma’ariv reported.
