Funeral services for former Justice Samuel Greenbaum, of the Supreme Court, who retired from the Appellate Division in 1923 after being on the bench for 21 years, and who died Monday at the age of 76, were held yesterday in the West End Funeral Parlors
Justice Greenbaum was one of the founders of the Educational Alliance and served for many years either as its president or first vice-president. Among other organizations of which he was a member are the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, the Baron de Hirsch Fund, the Jewish Welfare Board, the Society of Medical Jurisprudence, the Jewish Historical Society and the New York Public Library, of which he was a trustee.
