Forty-two countries will be represented in Jerusalem’s International Book Fair, it was announced by the municipal organizing committee, Twelve late entries, mostly from South America, had joined the original list, according to Ronnie Feinstein, committee chairman. The only East European bloc country represented is Rumania. In all, 60,000 books of 750 local and foreign publishers will be on display at the one-week fair which opens next Monday and 150 overseas publishers are expected to participate in person. The fair, the seventh of its kind since 1963; is considered second in the world after the Frankfurt Book Fair.
