Leon Lapidus, veteran Zionist and founder of the Herzlia Publishing Company, who died at the age of 71 was buried here yesterday. Representatives of all Jewish organizations and of the Israel Legation here attended the funeral.
Mr. Lapidus, whose firm published a Swedish transition of the late Dr. Weizmann’s autobiography, was a co-founder of the Zionist organization in this country, was, was a vice-president of the Swedish section of the World Jewish Congress and a leader in the OSE and B’nai B’rith.
