Four congressional Democrats want the Bush administration to brief Congress on the FBI’s probe into the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. In a letter sent Thursday to President Bush, Reps. Robert Wexler of Florida, Robert Menendez of New Jersey, and Eliot Engel and Gary Ackerman of New York, say that with the case intensifying — four grand-jury subpoenas were issued to top AIPAC staffers earlier this month — Bush should clear up concerns about the probe’s integrity.
