The four-day annual convention of the National Committee for Labor Israel opened today with a series of business sessions attended by 3,300 delegates from the United States and Canada.
The conclave, which will launch the 36th annual Israel Histadrut campaign, will be addressed by Edward B. Lawson, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel; Avraham Harman, Israel Ambassador to the United States; Joseph Almogi, secretary of the Haifa Labor Council, and others.
