A four-day program honoring Rabbi Israel Goldstein on the occasion of his 25th anniversary as rabbi of the congregation B’nai Jeshurun, second oldest congregation in New York, has been arranged for May 20 to 23, it was announced today. The congregation sisterhood will make a gift of a grove of 1,000 trees planted in Palestine in honor of Rabbi Goldstein. Many prominent Jewish and Christian leaders will participate in the program.
