Four Israel scientists and social scientists received the annual Rothschild Research prizes today in a ceremony attended by top educators and government officials. The awards for 2,500 pounds each, made by the Palestine Jewish Colonization Association, went to: Prof. M. Evanari, for a study of specific problems in connection with seeds and flowers; Dr. M. Ish-Shalom, for studies of Jewish settlement in Palestine from the fourth century C. E. to the present day; Prof. A. Brawer, for research on sociological problems which developed in Palestine during the Crusades, and Dr. J. Denesch for work on an electric altimeter.
