Four members of Kibbutz Beeri in the western Negev were killed last night when their car collided head-on with an Army truck. Two other passengers in the car were severely injured. The dead were identified as Avner Dan, 48, and his wife, Dalish, 37; Shmuel Tzfoni, 45, and Tzafrira Shomroni, 37.
