Four Palestine Jews Escape from Internment Camp in Eritrea; Wide Search Started

Four Palestine Jews interned in Eritrea escaped on Tuesday night from the Sembel Camp, four miles from Asmara, it was reported here today from Khartoum, in the Sudan. The Asmara police mobilized a large force in an attempt to apprehend them before they crossed the Sudan frontier, the report said.

The Palestine censor is reported today to have blue-pencilled almost one-half of the text of a speech prepared for delivery on a nation-wide broadcast by Jamal Husseini, vice-chairman of the Arab Higher Committee. As a result the broad-cast was cancelled at the last minute by the Arab leader, who asserted that the censored version of the script made the address pointless.

Eight of the ten Jews who were detained during searches Monday at the settlement of Tel Amal were released today.

The draft of a bill setting up a permanent industrial court to settle labor disputes was made public today by the Palestine Government. Modeled on similar legislation recently enacted in England, it provides for voluntary reference of disputes to the court and voluntary agreement to abide by its rulings.
