Fourteen American students are among a group of 29 Jewish students of the Haifa secondary high school, who are in grave danger in the Jewish colony Metulah, near the Syrian frontier, according to advices received by the American Consul here, Paul Knabenshue.
The students started a week ago on a bicycle trip to Syria. Efforts have been made by the Consular authorities to arrange for their transportation to safety.
Several American Jewish families are leaving Palestine today, embarking on a steamer leaving for Canada.
