A spokesman for Franch Premier Leon Blum last night denied that Blum and David Ben Gurion, chairman of the world Zionist executive, had discussed French intervention in the Palestine situation at their meeting this week.

“There is no question of France mediating between Britain and the Palestinians,” the spokesman said. “The subject was never mentioned in Blum’s talk with Ben Gurion which was purely informative.”
