France is demanding that Israel cut off all ties with the South Lebanon Army as a condition for Paris’ participation in an international peacekeeping force after Israel withdraws from Lebanon, Israel Radio reported. Meanwhile, the SLA closed down another post in Israel’s southern Lebanese security zone in advance of Israel’s expected withdrawal by July 7.
