France is doing its best to fight anti-Semitism, and Israeli journalists should treat France fairly, President Jacques Chirac said. The comments came during a meeting Tuesday between Chirac and Israeli journalists in Paris. Tuesday’s visit was organized by Nicole Guedj, a senior adviser to Chirac and a leading member of the Paris Consistoire, and Rabbi Joseph Pevsner, who heads a network of Chabad-Lubavitch schools in France.
