A number of documents shedding new light on the activities of Adolf Eichmann, Nazi master mind in the murder of the 6,000,000 European Jews in occupied Europe, have been flown to Israel from France, it was disclosed here today. The documents originated from the proceedings of French military tribunals, including the trial of the Gestapo Chief in France, Knochem, and other hitherto undisclosed evidence.
Another important collection of documents is in the French National Archive but despite protracted negotiations between the Israel Embassy here and the French Foreign Ministry, these documents for some unknown reason, have not yet been made available to Israel. It was hoped they would be available before December I when the prosecution in the forthcoming Eichmann trial will close its files.
