The French Ministry of Posts today suspended all air shipments to Israel of parcel and packages until further notice. The Ministry said the measure was taken because the French Post Office found it “materially impossible to undertake security checks demanded by all airlines” on parcel shipments to Israel. The ban affects all packages exceeding 50 grammes and letters containing solid objects. Airmail shipments of newspapers are not affected.
