The Ministry for Prisoners and Deportees disclosed today that it had requested the International Red Cross to give special attention to observing the treatment accorded prisoners at Lubeck and the “reprisal camp” of Stalag 90, to which French Jewish officers have been sent from other camps over the past three months.
There has been considerable apprehension here over reports that the Nazis have been weeding out Jews from other French war prisoners and segregating them in special camps and barracks.
