Chief Rabbi Jacob Kaplan, of France, will make his first visit to the United States this month to attend the 70th anniversary convention of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, which will be held in Washington, D.C. Nov. 27 to Dec. 1. According to convention chairman Samuel L. Brennglass, Rabbi Kaplan will be guest of honor at a Thanksgiving Day dinner marking the organization’s anniversary.
