France’s new prime minister vowed that the French government was determined to continue its vigilance in fighting anti-Semitism. “The fight against anti-Semitism has been and continues to be at the heart of the French government’s course of action,” Dominique de Villepin said in a statement at a colloquium on anti-Semitism held Tuesday, promising that he would make sure the French government continued to work to diminish anti-Semitic violence.
