The resignation of Frank J. Rubenstein as executive director of the Y.M.H.A. and Y.W.H.A. here has been announced by the board of directors of the institution.
For nine years Mr. Rubenstein was identified in an active capacity with the “Y” and it was largely through his efforts that the present building was completed. He is former chief clerk of Dropsie College in Philadelphia and was also assistant secretary of the Jewish Welfare Board for the U.S. Army and Navy.
A successor has not been named.
