Frankfurt University has embarked on a five-year series of lectures on Jewish history, culture and religion under the Philosophy Faculty of the University. The series has been made possible by a bequest in the will of the late Eda Kuhn Loeb, of New York.

Next Wednesday, Dr. Alexander Altmann, rabbi of Manchester, England, will deliver a lecture on the “Beginnings of Jewish Neo-Platonism.” The program, named the “Loeb Lectures,” was initiated by Dr. Leo Baeck, former Chief Rabbi of Berlin and currently head of the World Union for Progressive Judaism.
