Fraternal and civic leaders of the Eastern states will join in tribute to Benjamin Bacharach of this city at the Madison Hotel on his sixty-ninth birthday next Saturday.
The celebration includes a banquet and dance. It is sponsored by the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, of which Mr. Bacharach is the Atlantic City head. The toastmaster will be former Mayor W. Freeland Kendrick of Philadelphia.
Speakers will include Judge Henry Egner of Newark, Vice-Chancellor W. Frank Sooy of this city, Albert H. Ladner of Philadelphia, former national dictator of the Loyal Order of Moose, Louis Groh of Philadelphia, Edward Reeves of Bridgeton and Mr. Bacharach’s two brothers, Harry and Isaac, who are respectively Mayor of Atlantic City, and Congressman.
