Frederick W. Borchardt, leader in a number of Jewish organizations, died here yesterday at the age of 54. Mr. Borchardt was a vice-president of the Jewish Restitution Committee and a director of the United Hias Service and of the American Federation of Jews from Central Europe. Born in Berlin, he came to this country 20 years ago after the Nazis came to power in Germany.
