Plans to resume the campaign for funds to build a new synagogue for which there are already assets amounting to $1,300,000, were discussed at the annual meeting last night of the congregation of the Free Synagogue. According to a statement made by Rabbi Stephen S. Wise about $500,000 more will be needed before the actual building of the Temple can be undertaken. In the meantime G. Richard Davis has been appointed chairman of the committee on plans for the building.
